About Us

Mark Tincombe has been in the professional pet industry for seven years in total and animals are his passion. Mark grew up in an animal loving family environment and his parents passed down to him their un-denied love and commitment to animals.

From 1997 - 2002, Mark started and ran a dog walking and animal care business called Walkies in West and North Vancouver. He grew a large and ever-faithful dog following and was entrusted by busy families with their dogs, cats and homes on a continual basis. He even walked and house sat for members of the Vancouver Canucks hockey Club. Mark is proud to say that Walkies is still in operation to this very day and is run by the same person who took it over in 2002.

Then from 2007 - 2009 whilst joining his girlfriend who went to London, England on a two year global work exchange program, mark started a business called Paradise Hound. He was relied upon by many SW London families for dog walking, cat care, as well as house sitting. He was lucky enough to find a husband/wife team to take Paradise Hound over before returning to Vancouver, Canada.
